God is in the details, there is not a single factor that He overlooks or doesn't care about. God knows all things, even the stuff we don't see or even truly care about. It is true that God is concerned about every little thing and wants everything to work for our good. God is walking with us, side by side, in our day-to-day lives. Like a good father, He is patient and kind with us guiding our every step. Even when we don't recognize it, He is making a way for us through the details.
Remembrance is key!
What does it mean to remember? It means to bring something to our awareness, the opposite of remembrance is forgetfulness. In school, students are assessed so that they can remember and apply knowledge. Sometimes our senses can carry a memory and cause us to remember certain events in our lives. Such as certain scents that cause us to reminisce, or even certain noises that can take us back. The Lord had to remind the children of Israel who He was because their forgetfulness had led them to sin and make errors in their lives. The Lord wanted the Israelites to remember the manna that He gave them; so that they could be grateful and remember His provision. Remember all the things that God has done for you! Because He has done so much in your life. The children of Israel had stones of remembrance from when they had crossed the river Jordan. They showed them to their children as a reminder of God’s faithfulness! We must do the same! We must remember what God has done for us.
God is always teaching us!
In every season, God has certain lessons that He wants us to learn. He knows that the contents of our hearts: and even certain habits could hold us back and deny us what He wants for us. God is dealing with us right now about what is yet to come. God will even humble us so that we can win from within and truly prosper in the future. In the midst of a difficult season, it may seem like He is not working on our behalf or doing things for our good. But He is! God lives in the unseen realm and can see the bigger picture, He is all about the details, even the parts that we may deem as insignificant.
Never remove God from the equation of your life!
We must never separate ourselves from God and assume that He only wants to be involved in certain aspects of our lives. He is a part of every single piece of our stories. He is the source of every blessing in our lives. Who fed you in the wilderness? Who led you through the wilderness? Who brought you water? God did! It was all God, testing and preparing you so that you could do good in the end!
God will keep His children!
God kept the Israelites because of the covenant that He had established with their forefathers. Similarly, God has a responsibility to take us somewhere, because of the covenant with Jesus Christ. God has managed to keep His end of the bargain, the contract that He has with us. God is faithful, and He will always maintain His promises! So we must work with Him, be obedient, and pass the various tests that come our way.
Even in times of sorrow, we can trust that God is in the details, meeting us where we are and comforting us. Those hard and difficult times can be a window for God to minister and be close to us. When we trust that God is in the details, then we know that even when life is rough, He is still working things out.
Let’s put our hope in God, He knows what’s next, and exactly what is going to happen. So we can trust Him with every bit of our lives.
