In 1961, JFK gave a proclamation that in 10 years the United States would send a man to the Moon. Several people were against it for various reasons, cost being one of the top reservations. However, within 8 years of the proclamation, a decision was made to send Neal Armstrong on the mission. When a strong decision is made, certain things don't matter such as the budget.
The highest-paid skill is critical thinking and CFO’s get paid a tremendous amount of money; because they make strong decisions that bring profitability to their organizations. Money follows strong decisions, however, it does not necessarily follow prayer. What is it that you do after prayer? Are you making strong decisions? Money is a currency that will only flow with strong decisions, and indecision blocks that.
The Holy Ghost is a helper, advocate, remembrancer, standby, guide, teacher, and one who comes along to help. Although we make the decisions, the Holy Ghost comes along to power and assists us in the process. But we must first do our part by making strong decisions about our futures, careers, businesses, education, families, etc.
Time is always moving and it doesn't wait for us to make decisions. Time can and does work for anyone universally. However, when it comes down to making strong decisions, time waits for no one.
Abram was eighty-six years old when Hagar bore Ishmael to Abram. - Genesis 16:16
Abraham had waited several years for a son of promise, but instead of waiting for Issac (the son of the promise), he had an Ishmael (the son of the flesh). Abraham and Sarah decided on the flesh instead of waiting for the son of promise. The decision that was made by Abraham has led to an ongoing battle between the two, and the war won't end until Jesus’s return. All because of a wrong decision. What kind of decisions are you making? Decisions affect the generations to come!
So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. - Genesis 3:6
Adam and Eve were in the garden, and in the cool of the day, God would speak to them. God had given them a simple instruction, but they did not want to listen. Because of our sinful nature, we have a propensity to want to touch what we should never touch. When Eve decided to eat the fruit and give it to her husband, she impacted all of humankind. We as a human race are messed up to this day, from that strong yet wrong decision.
There are seven different types of dispensations
The dispensation of innocence, consciousness, promise, human government, rest, law, grace, and the millennial kingdom. Whenever Adam and Eve were in the garden they were in the dispensation of innocence. They did not know right from wrong, good or bad. The dispensation was turned from innocence to consciousness. Decisions are very powerful! The outcomes of decisions can be permanent, and even eternal.
We’ve got to make strong and good decisions. King David would always inquire of the Lord before he made a decision because He understood their power. Let’s not live by default, instead, let’s live by design.
Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision. - Joel 3:14
Many people are in the valley because they are not able to make decisions.
So the master commended the unjust steward because he had dealt shrewdly. For the sons of this world are more shrewd in their generation than the sons of light. - Luke 16:8
When you make a decision and don't act on it, it is not a strong one. However, we must always make strong decisions and stick to them!
Some quick tips:
Provision will always follow strong decisions and visions
Sometimes it’s not the devil, it’s our lack of decisions
Poverty is created by poor decisions
Your decisions make or break you
A mistake done repeatedly is a decision
